After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Cosmetology, I attained a Master’s degree in Cosmetology and Hair Dressing from Virginia College, Greenville. In addition, I posses a diploma in hair care products. I am a licensed hair stylist, and received my license in the year 2003.

I have over nine years of experience in this field and at present I am employed with “The Caesar Saloon”. My current job requires me to handle the following:

• Schedule client appointments
• Understand the client’s needs, analyze the client’s hair, facial structure, and other physical attributes, and suggest appropriate hair styles and beauty treatments
• Trim, shape, and cut hair or hairpieces according to the client’s instructions using scissors, trimmers, clippers, and razors
• Apply waving or straightening solutions to the hair
• Use rollers, curlers, curling irons, and hot combs to curl hair
• Bleach, tint, or dye hair by using a brush or applicator
• Advise clients to seek medical help for contagious or chronic scalp conditions
• Administer therapeutic medication/s whenever required
• Treat scalp for remedial and hygienic purposes using vibrating equipment, fingers, and hands
• Sanitize tools like combs and scissors and keep work station clean and hygienic
